After writing my
Nintendo Gift Guide for the Clueless, (http://nerdyedge.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-nintendo-gift-guide-for-clueless.html
) I was given the idea of writing one specifically for the ladies. Yes guys,
there are women out there that play the same games, quote the same quotes, and
like the same nerdy collectables. So it seems only right that I spend some time
helping you out with getting that special nerd the right gift. A survey that
was a part of the documentary Video
Games: The Movie, showed that 47% of gamers are women. With this rise of girl gamers sprouts the
need of nerdy girl gifts.

The first thing I
usually think of when it comes to Nintendo nerds is their style, and women are
no different. I thought we would start
by looking at some fashionable gift ideas. TootSweetSkirts on Etsy has a cute
retro NES Controller Skirt, ($48.00) that almost lures me to shave my legs and
try this piece on myself. I did say almost! Another Etsy creation by Lynnsrags
shows a full dress that’s inspired by baby Pokémon ($65.00). If you’re really a
hardcore nerd and you also cosplay, another cool item to add to your collection
is a pair of glasses sported by Jeanne from the Bayonetta series. Though the
glasses make awesome accessories, they will set you back a bit. There are 3

My
wife likes to make new food, especially when it comes to baking. For my
birthday she made me a Super Mario Brothers Starman cake and I loved it. She
told me she loves to get ideas from Nerdy Nummies which showcases a variety of

If
you like making anything nerdy and it happens to be food, then why not look

So
with the holidays approaching and in some states like mine it’s really cold. So
I know there is a variety of ways to make the indoors a little brighter and
warmer. One way to make things brighter are these awesome Zelda candles found
on Etsy and sold by Boplet for $12.93. Another awesome candle idea hails from
Etsy, and is sold by Blankoo. The candle
is in the shape of a Lon Lon Ranch milk bottle from Zelda. It can be purchased
for $24.00. I for one, think both of

called, Hyrule Historia, by Dark
Horse Comics. This by far is one of the coolest books you can ever own in the
Legend of Zelda series. The book contains 270 pages of gorgeous artwork,

My
wife likes to play music on her keyboard as well as my ocarina. She told me to
mention two of her favorite collections of musical scores for both the Legend
of Zelda and Mario Series. Both score are published by Alfred Publishing Staff,
and available on Amazon. They range new at about $14.00 - $16.00 dollars. These
musical wonderments will make even the highest stress level dissipate.
No
matter what that Nintendo nerd girl in your life likes there is always
something that will pique her interest. Make this holiday warm, inviting, and
nerdy by taking your gifts to the next level for her. Have a wonderful and
